Pinbellish Pinning Party No. 27

Welcome to Pinbellish!

A Pinning Celebration

We received a great question from one of our Pinbellish party goers asking if you should be re-pinning from Pinterest (an actual re-pin) OR from the blog the pin came from (brand spanking new pin).

With a traditional link-up party, we are always reminded to pin features 'from the source' rather than from the link-up party. This way the pin links back to the blogger's post and not the link-up party post.

Pinbellish is a little different as we link a PIN that has already been shared on Pinterest, and already links back to the correct blog.

Pinterest gives preference to pins that are more frequently re-pinned. This means the more re-pins a pin has the more people will see it in their home feed and in searches.

So, long story longer, at the Pinbellish Pin Party please re-pin the great ideas you find here from Pinterest. No need to actually visit the blog it came from and then pin it, that's why we ask you to link up the pin URL - not your blog post.

Or as I like to pontificate:
At Pinbellish Pin Party please repin pins in Pinterest to promote Pinterest prioritising your pins to purfylle your Pinterest pinning pleasure. ~ Stella Lee of Purfylle

Pin Trivia of the week:

Jumper pins / Temporary pins

When developing electronic gadgets the use of temporary pins (jumper pin) and connector wires is common. A finished electronic component would have soldered wiring instead.
Link-up rules & Guidelines
  1. Link to your  Pinterest pin (not your blog, only links to pins get featured)
  1. Add up to 7 pins old or new (one for each day of the week!)
  1. Re-pin 2 pins for every link you add
  1. Follow your hosts on your favorite social media platform
