I love creating.

Sometimes things will become created out of need. You find yourself in situations that an item, a room or an outdoor space is screaming for an inexpensive improvement. In these circumstances you reach out for ideas and solutions. The possibilities can be endless and rewarding. I usually achieve this by recycling everyday household items into re-purposed functions, restoring projects and much more. Showing you how is my purpose of this blog.

Follow along with me while we explore home improvement, crafts, gardening and repurposing at  Redo It Yourself Inspirations.

  1. I really like what you did with the chest of drawers. I could have saved myself three hundred bucks on an entertainment center.

    1. Thank you, Mark :) The dresser to media center was a project I planned for over a great deal of time but never found the right dresser I wanted. It needed to be the right size and of good quality. This one is quite long, (6') very solid and on original casters and wheels. Although I did admire many media centers from furniture stores and outlets, I felt the quality was not as good as "old furniture". This piece was manufactured in 1968 and easily converted to our needs. It gave the space for electronics and media storage. We are currently using it and I can't be more pleased with the outcome. We previously had two storage cabinets next to each other and the electronics piled on top. Quite the clutter. Now it's streamlined and tidy. The worst part of it all... configuring the electronics for me. But it is done and comfortable. Don't give up on doing one yourself.

  2. Hey! It's Alicia (chosencalledcha from Twitter) stopping by to check out your blog and thank you for linking up with us! (#TweetTribe)

I love everything! I mean its hard to pick a favorite!! :) I like the laundry makeover the best. I wish our cabinets were glass because it would be a lot better than the ones we have. I see tons of stuff at the Goodwill and at yard sales that I would love to remake. I know that wood work and things like that are not my area..LOL maybe one day?!?

    1. Hi Alicia! The glass fronts are nice but it forces me to keep everything neat and organized. I hope you attempt a redo or two of your own. Sometimes it can be challenging, but a lot of it is really easy.

I'm glad you stopped by to visit! Thank you~
